According to the RateTheMusic.com’s own website, "RateTheMusic is the leading website giving music fans the chance to let their opinions be heard regarding a variety of music styles. Your opinions are seen by radio programmers and record company decision-makers around the world, and you can have a real influence on the music played on radio (terrestrial, satellite, and Internet) and purchased online and in stores. Your feedback helps determine artists' careers."
That said. Not every song is available to be rated at RateTheMusic.com. Only songs that are doing fairly well on several Radio formats can be rated.
How do I rate Camila's songs?
1. First, you need to sign up. Click "Sign Up Now" at their page.
2. Sign up as if you're an American citizen or else American Radio stations won't care. You can find a fake address at www.fakeaddressgenerator.com
In this example, I chose a New York address because it's the main market for radio. Other big markets are Los Angeles, Chicago, San Francisco, Dallas, Houston, etc. Copy the address generated to RateTheMusic.com (city, state, postal code).
On Radio info, you can answer randomly. That's how I chose to answer (it's best if you don't mark the "I don't listen to radio" option for obvious reasons). Same goes for your Internet info and Employment info.
3. Click "continue".
4. Fill with your name and last name and a legitimate email address as well as other infos that aren't optional. When asked which radios you listen the most, you can choose whatever you need at our mediabase page, but it's better if you choose stations based on the city you "pretended" you were from.
5. At favorite music style, choose Top 40. Click "continue".
6. You're finally signed up. Weekly they will send you an email reminding you to rate the Top 40 songs available.
7. When a new survey is up for you to rate, you'll see there's one available at the top page, like this:
8. Several songs will appear for you to rate. You will be asked:
"Are you familiar with this song?"
"Rate this song"
"Are you tired of listening to this song?"
9. You can answer it all honestly, but give Camila's songs the best rate. So when Camila's song appear, make sure you rate it this way:
10. Click next until you rate ALL songs. This message will appear once you've finished your survey.
