Countdowns happen from monday to friday when radio stations play the most requested songs of the day. They consider not only tweets as requesting, but phone calls or texts, shazam numbers, radio updates, snapchat requests... 

All countdowns selected are in EST timezone. You can request since one hour before the countdown begin. So if the countdowns starts at 16h EST, you can request after 15h EST until 16h EST. Request through all means possible. Calling and texting are the most effective way, specially if done by locals. Request through thumbs up, forms, polls if they are available. If they have a snapchat, request through it using the # and the DJ’s name. At twitter, don't spam, try using your own words and gifs or emojis. Radio loves attention and expressive fandoms, so we need to make our part.
